The Community PACE Investment Fund is an opportunity for local financial institutions — and potentially local accredited and unaccredited investors — to achieve longterm stable returns with a minimal risk profile, by investing in a portfolio of local Community PACE projects.

The Fund can be managed by either the Country or our 501(c)(3), which can issue bonds, manage a not-for-profit investment trust, on a pilot program basis. As an element of a County-supported Community PACE program, the Community PACE Investment Fund provides a source of low-cost capital as a backstop to local banks, credit unions, and CDFIs, in order to get these projects done. This element is subject to further review by an attorney with the relevant expertise.
